I love interiors magazines and enjoy the features, the ideas and the inspiring photographs. However, with a post Christmas tidy in full force here,I realised that perhaps I DO have a few too many magazines in the corner of my bedroom. The trouble is, I am loathe to throw them away because you never know when you might need to refer to them - just because some of them are several years old, doesn't mean that they may not be useful in the future! Therefore, rather than reducing my stack of interiors magazines, I have decided to try not to buy any more - or at least, limit myself and try to resist temptation too often. And so for now, I am sticking with the January 2014 edition of The English Home.
Although it has lots of Christmas related features, there are lots of fabulous other things contained within its covers and the knot gardens piece has encouraged me to persevere with the knot garden I started to create within our garden last summer. So yes, for me, this copy of The English Home is all about New Year, Fresh Beginnings just as it states on the cover.
